Embracing the trade show theme of Back on Track: What’s Your Destination? BOMA Georgia luncheon speaker Kelvin Collins with the Atlanta BeltLine will share the history and future of the Atlanta Beltline and its impact on economic development and the real estate industry. Formed in 2005, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership is the nonprofit organization that helps keep the Atlanta BeltLine vision on track by enabling the construction of more parks and trails; engaging the public through tours, health and fitness programs, and special events; and empowering Atlanta BeltLine residents to connect with affordable housing, economic development, and a healthy lifestyle.

LUNCHEON SPEAKER BIO

As Vice President of Economic Development, Kelvin Collins leads a comprehensive strategy to increase equitable economic outcomes for residents and businesses of the Atlanta BeltLine.

Prior to ABI, Collins spent 15 years in leadership roles in both private and public sectors, advancing economic development solutions for low-income communities in New York City. Most recently, he served as the Chief M/WBE Officer at NYC Department of Education – the nation’s largest public-school system.

His previous roles include President & CEO of the Harlem Commonwealth Council (HCC) and Assistant Commissioner at the NYC Department of Small Business Services. He is a graduate of Midwestern State University, Texas.

Held in conjunction with the BOMA Show, the trade show hall is closed from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for the luncheon. Non-exhibiting vendors and service providers may attend the luncheon, but will not be permitted on the BOMA Show floor following the program. Registration includes lunch, networking and an educational program.
